project 01 / herengracht
Purpose: residential
Location: amsterdam, the netherlands
The concept of this project focuses on integrating modern interior designs within a monumental building on the Herengracht, carefully preserving the historical elements of the property. The project covers approximately 200 square meters and combines contemporary materials, lighting solutions, and furniture concepts that seamlessly complement the classical architectural features of the space, such as the ornate ceilings, moldings, and marble fireplaces.
In this project, as part of the team at Caren Pardovitch Interior Design, I was responsible for developing the materialization, lighting, and furniture concepts. Together with my team, I ensured a harmonious balance between the monumental elements and the modern additions, making the space both functional and visually appealing.
